CReAIT Project: Innovative Solutions for Inclusive and Accessible Tourism

In July 2023, the CReAIT project was launched with the aim of improving the accessibility of tourist destinations in Trogir (Croatia) and Fermo (Italy). The focus of the project is to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility, disabilities, and sensory, motor, or mental challenges.

Project partners: City of Fermo, COOSS Cooperativa Sociale, City of Trogir, and the CEDRA Association.

Locations in Trogir: Kamerlengo Fortress and the Trogir City Museum.

Innovative solutions include:

• Interactive panoramic display and 360 navigation experience in Kamerlengo Fortress
• 3D map of Kamerlengo Fortress
• Tactile pen for sound reproduction of selected museum exhibits
• Historical video story “Katarina’s House”

The project, worth €250,000, will run until December 2024 and is funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme.
