Where is the tourist clinic and when is it open?
Tourist clinic in Trogir is located in the building of Dom zdravlja (ul. Kardinala A. Stepinca 17, Trogir) and it is open only during the summer.
Working hours: TUE-SAT: 13-21, SUN-MON: closed
ONLY in case of exceptional need for medical assistance during sunday and monday contact the duty team.
Please, if your symptoms don’t require an urgent response from a doctor (sea urchin sting, cough, sore throat, runny nose, rash, redness caused by the sun, etc.), don’t create unnecessary crowds in clinics, visit the nearest pharmacy ( cough, runny nose, sore throat – pastilles, syrup, nose drops; redness caused by the sun – sun burn relief cream; sea urchin sting – remove any possible spines with a sterile needle and buy black ointment for the others, wound dressing – only in tourist clinic from tuesday to saturday).

Greek god Kairos is the symbol of Trogir. The relief can be seen in a wonderful collection of the Benedictine monastery of Saint Nicholas which was founded in 1064.

What makes the Cathedral of St. Lawrence special?
Even though the cathedral is officially called the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, the locals also call it the cathedral of St. John, after the patron saint of the town. It’s the same cathedral, the only one in the town. The cathedral was constructed over five centuries and the mixture of different styles can be best seen on the bell tower. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is also known for Radovan’s portal which dates back from the 13th century, and is a masterpiece of the Croatian Medieval art.
What can you see in Trogir in one day?
Due to relatively small area, you can see all the most important sights in the town in one day, because they are only a few minutes’ walk from each other. The town museum, as it is called by many, enchants the visitors with its rich offer. Although the simple walk through the medieval streets will give you the feeling that you are travelling through time, we highlight the must see attractions: the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with the magnificent Radovan’s portal, the Fortress Kamerlengo and the Tower of St. Mark, the Town Lodge, the Town Museum where you can find out everything about the history of Trogir from the Greek period until today and the Benedictine monastery where you have the opportunity to see the relief of Kairos – the Greek god of the happy moment.
Where can we leave our luggage for a few hours?
There are two luggage storage facilities closer to the town centre. One is located within the bus station where you can leave your luggage in lockers that can be locked, while the other is only 50m away in the direction of Seget, right next to the fish market. The address is Ulica Alojzija Stepinca 12A, Trogir.
Is there a town beach and where is it located?
There are no beaches in the old centre, but two town beaches are located in the vicinity, only a 10-minute walk away (one on the island of Čiovo – in front of the Brown Beach House hotel and the other in the Brigi area – in front of the Čokolada café). Most of Trogir’s beaches are located in the area of Arbanija on the island of Čiovo, which is connected with Trogir by boat lines during the summer months.
How to get to the islands?
Trogir and the nearby islands of Drvenik Veliki and Drvenik Mali are connected by a ferry line that departs several times a day during the summer months. You can also visit the other islands through one-day tours which depart from the ferry port in Split, just a 30-minute drive from Trogir.
Where can we ride a bike or walk in nature in the Trogir area?
The island of Čiovo is a perfect place for cycling or walking in nature because of the numerous paths there. The island is also enriched with lush Mediterranean vegetation, numerous pre-Romanesque churches and unexplored beaches.
