The exhibition “STONEBOATS” by Snježana Mayer

Will open at the Trogir Town Museum on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 7:30 PM

Snježana’s imaginatively transformed landscapes of Croatian islands, islets, cliffs, and reefs escape every trap of naturalism. She creates works that exude freshness, with vibrant colors conveying the warmth of sunny days and the sparkle of the sea surface, writes Aleksandra Bilić Petričević, Senior Curator of the Trogir Town Museum, in her introduction.

“The artist constantly matures and deepens her own artistic expression, discovering inexhaustible possibilities in the very painting process. She has reached an admirable level of ease in creation, sovereignty, and confidence. Her artistic magic evokes our emotions, inspires us to think, and invites us to surrender to the unique poetics of her creativity,” concludes Bilić Petričević.
