10 campsites in Croatia chosen as best by ACSI

Croatia’s ten campsites have won awards which the ACSI, Europe’s leading campsite specialist, gives based on travellers’ votes, and the best Croatian camping resort in 2023 is the Zaton Holiday Resort, the Croatian Camping Association (KUH) reported on Friday.
Apart from Zaton, the other nine winners in various categories are Bi-Village due to its location, the Aminess Atea Camping Resort (best dog-friendly camp site), Plari (best child-friendly campsite) and the Krk Premium Camping Resort (best sanitary network).
The remaining award winners are the Wine Camp Hažić as well as Čikat, for sport lovers, and the Falkensteiner Premium Camping Zadar, which has the best swimming pool.
Croatia ranks 12th among 30 European countries in terms of the popularity and number of camping resorts. France tops the ranking, and is followed by Germany.
